The fantastic ship, the Titanic, left Southampton with more than 2000 people on board. It was a city on water! It had a swimming pool, a sauna, a theatre, tennis courts - everything! On 14 April 1912, the ship hit an iceberg. No ship received the S.O.S. signal, and the Titanic went to the bottom of the sea, taking more than 1500 passengers with it.
