Laura is going to spend her first night away from home. She is staying with Sophie's auntie Jenny, who lives by the sea. Laura and Sophie spend a wonderful day on the beach and plan a midnight feast for that night. But when there is a power cut that evening, they find themselves sitting in the dark and Laura feels afraid: Can she hear ghosts moving around in the hallway? Luckily, Laura has her star by her side and with its help she manages to overcome her fear.
