Way up in the sky, an odd-looking pair of birds fly through the sky. Kai and Kiki land on the North Sea coast of Germany. Hunger drives them further inland where they meet an owl who gives them good advice for the rest of their journey. In Berlin they meet Rocco the raccoon. who knows the city like the back of his hand. He sends them to an old villa, where a lady boar and a gang are squatting.
When the humans come home, things get really dangerous for Kai.
