Against a beautiful Scandinavian background of seashore and skerries, a serial killer is going round murdering men on their boats. Is there some kind of pattern which links the victims? The police are under pressure to find the killer before he or she strikes again. Two students notice that a woman who lives in their block of flats was out in her old Volvo on the night when the first man was killed. Is this significant, or had she just been to a party? The story is a real page-turner which builds up to an exciting climax out in the skerries.
